We travelled to Oldham for this quarter final, we obviously knew this side would be good to get to this stage but... we knew we where up for it and could beat anyone on our day!!
The game started as expected fast and furious and the ball fought for in midfield by both teams,it became obvious that Boundary Park had  a couple of decent players up front but George and Jack did a great job in not allowing them time on the ball,Matt came out a couple of times early to clear the ball then just before half time the ball came over to our 18 yrd box and took a deflection of one of our own players towards the goal but Matt made a great save to keep us in it.
Second half and much of the same George was very busy as all the play from the opposition was levelled at the one forward player! George was equal to the challenge and kept him out of it,Half way through the second half and the ball came over to Danny who controlled it brilliantly turned inside and shot low into the bottom corner great goal 0.1 Our midfield did well with Steve J busy as usual, Matt again had a couple of clearences but no saves to make,apart from his usual 6yrd scramble where he likes to get his old Dads heart pumpin a little faster,
Not long before full time and Craggy hit a 30yrd screamer to make it 0.2 and the game was ours.
Everyone played a great game and we deserved the win bring on the semis
