A game that was going to be tough based on last years games !

We had 4 of the lads away so we only had one substitute and it meant Chris playing in a role he has not been used to with Villa defence! but its fair to say he did very well,
The game started well with most of the play coming from Villa it took until the 17th minute before George put a great ball over to Connor on the right wing who found new signing Scott who slotted it away 1.0
Then on the 23 minute mark Josh put over a great corner and Connor put it away 2.0
5 minutes away from the half time whistle and Dan put the ball in the back of the net to make it 3.0
then just before the whistle great play between Scott and Lewis to find Dan who does not need a second chance 4.0
The first half wasn't all one way but our defence and Matt ( who went walk about again) did well to keep Shevington at bay.

Second half and Shevington came at us more and on the 18 minute mark where awarded a corner matt met it well but his punch only went to the edge of the 18 yard box and was struck really well to clip the underside of the bar to make it 4.1
10 minutes later and Josh hit a good cross/shot to make the score 5.1 then 2 minutes later Dan had a good chance with a one on one with the keeper and didn't miss to make the final score 6.1
I thought the lads played really well and deserved the victory Connor worked really hard and deserved the Man of the match award
