We played Burscough in the cup final last year so we knew we had a tough game on our hands!
 
The game started well and Villa were up for it! some good passing from the lads but Burscough defence held very well! it took until the 26th minute before we broke through and scored a great goal from Danny,
Our midfield and defence did a great job in keeping Burscough at bay so much so Matty did not have a lot to do again

Second half and we again started positive and within the first 6 minutes James M battled well with the ball and gave Connor a slim chance of a goal and that is all that he needed ! great turn and shot into the far corner of the net, fair to say it was worthy of a prem goal,2.0 then 2 minutes later Dan got the ball in midfield and put a great chip over the on coming  Burscough keeper 3.0

It was not all Villa but we played well an defended well Matt had a couple of clearances but all told Villa played well,
We were awarded a penalty on the 25 minute mark and Connor stood up to take it but pushed it wide of the post !

The game finished 3.0 and we deserved the victory, Burscough are a good side but we frustrated them and it showed in some of their tackles later in the game
