CLJF cup Semi - Final
 
 
As yet we hadn't played Gregson this year but last year  we beat them 9.0 and 6.0 but this was the cup and anything could happen
 
Villa knew straight away that it was not going to be easy Gregson came at us from the off and the first 20 minutes was at 100 mph end to end stuff but not really a shot on either goal, both defences did really well.

On the 26 minute mark Steven J made an opening for himself but the shot just went wide of the post, we had a couple of chances after that but we were just off the mark, Danny had a one on one with the keeper but the keeper came out well and Dans shot just just wide (I would have put my house on Dan scoring he does it all the time in training).

Half time came and it was a welcome respite but the lads were doing really well,much the same both defences busy and keepers on theIr toes, Matty did a couple of clearances (and challenging for an outfield position a couple of times).

30 minutes into the second half and a great battle in the Gregson half ended up with Danny putting the balll in the back of the net 1.0 great goal and well done Dan.

Gregson came at us with only a few minutes to go Matt pounced on the ball well keep in the winning position everyone played really well and no man of the match awarded(to tight to choose I presume)

Well done to everyone and Cadley in the final!!
 
Still 2 points clear at the top with games in hand
