Always a big game for Villa against our local rivals Albion.

We started well but its fair to say Villa were not on their passing game from the start,but within the first 7 minutes Steven J slotted a good goal away 1.0 !

The next 10 minutes was all Villa but not at all the Villa side we know ! Kane had a great shot on 15 mins and the Albion Keeper could only parry it into the path of Josh B good finish 2.0,then 5 minutes later Josh B hit another shot towards the keeper but unfortunately it took a bobble and an easy goal 3.0

Half time and 3.0 but Villa had lowered theIr game to the level of the opposition on the day ! yes the score showed us well in command but against better teams we would have struggled

Second half and 4 changes from the subs bench, the game did not get any better and Albion made one of theIr few attacks on our goal and some poor clearing let in Albions forward to slot a goal away 3.1

5 minutes later Danny put a good header away 4.1 on around the 30 minute mark Connor had a shot but the keeper could only deflect it back to Connor who put a good header away 5.1

I have to say again it was a poor game but a win !
