Ribbleton were 2nd in the league and having only let 11 goals in prior to this match we knew they where a side to be reckoned with.

The game started well with the midfield taking most of the game Josh had a good start on the left wing and looked the danger man for Villa with only 10 minutes on the clock Josh crossed a good ball in and Danny finished it well 1.0
 

Villa defence did very well to keep Ribbleton at bay as they were a very good footballing side but we pressed well and just before the 30 minute mark Danny made a great run and Connor finished it off well 2.0
 

First half over and we deserved the lead

Second half and the play was very much Villa and we pressed well the Ribbleton keeper did well and made some good clearances, about 15 minutes into the half Villa were awarded a free kick and Craggy struck it well but it didn't dip enough and struck the bar ! ,Matty made  great save but that is all he had to do in the second half,
Jack did a great job in keeping the Ribbleton number 12 quiet and Dom an excellent job in the sweeper role, a couple of subs were made and Kane was moved into different positions and did well to hold them well.
The match finished well and the lads showed a lot of spirit in keeping a clean sheet against a good side well done lads.

We are 5 points clear now so keep it up lads
