We played Tarleton early on in the season and we won 5.0 but last year the results were a closer call so we had to be on our guard.

BUT within the first 2 minutes Lewis played a fantastic through ball to Josh who took it round the keeper only to be cleared by the defender on the goal line! It was a great start:

13 minutes in and we had a throw in on the left wing Craggy took the ball and launched it into the Tarleton penalty box and it bounced through to Chris who slotted it away nicely,1.0, Villa had most of the first half creating some great passes and defended well, 24 minutes and Steve J put over a sweeping cross to Josh who once again took on the keeper and this time put it away neatly 2.0 A good first half from Villa.

Second half and Steve and Paul made the lads aware of a good start as an early goal from Tarleton would put us under pressure.

However 30 seconds in to the half and Craggy put a great lofted ball over to Josh on the left wing who in turn put the ball into the box first time Dan received it well turned and put in the back of the net 3.0 a great start, 5 minutes later Steve J once again put a great ball over to James M who finished it well 4.0.

Villa went looking for goals and a couple of times Tarleton caught us at the back but Matty made a couple of good clearances and a great save,
Especially when one of our defenders who shall not be named! oh ok George !! stood with the ball at his feet and could not decide what to do with it! Tarleton made the decision for him but all ended well,Only messing George!

James M put the last goal away a great looping ball beating the "towering" keeper5.0

Gotta say Villa played really well, the passing by some of the midfield was really good,A great team effort

Man of the match could have gone to a number of players and it was going to everyone until Paul awarded it to Lewis, much deserved as his play today was the best I have seen him play well done Lewis
