Victory for 10 Men Villa !!

Kick-off:
11am.
Euxton got off to a great start, applying pressure straight
away which led to both Mgwazo & Jon hitting the post within
the first 4 mins.
Fulwood conceded a corner after a strong run from Baz on the
right hand side. Dalian whipped in the corner and Asa lept
to great heights & headed just over the bar.
Fulwood came back at Villa but the back 3 of Dec, Rob &
Brethy defended strongly.
Both teams were closing down quickly and giving each other
little time on the ball.
Villa was winning the ball in the middle of the park and
were using the width well but Fulwood were defending well
and breaking up the play.
On 20 mins the ball fell to Asa who struck from outside the
box, which found its way under the diving Keeper. 0-1
From the Kick off. Fulwood applied pressure but Chris was
keeping goal well, coming out to meet the ball and showing a
secure pair of hands on a number of occasions.
Euxton continued to look for the 2nd goal with
Baz shooting just wide from a cross supplied from Asa.
On 33 mins Euxton were rewarded with another goal, a great
ball from Scott split the Fulwood defence which saw Asa
break through and finish with a great left footed strike
from 20 yards out. 0-2.
Second half
Euxton Kicked off the 2nd half and continued the
pressure.
On 36mins a strong tackle was made and to the amazement of
all, saw a Euxton player receive a straight red card.
Euxton now down to 10 men, saw Fulwood use this to their
advantage & put Euxton under pressure which led to Chris
making 2 outstanding goal line saves.

Euxton were withstanding a lot of the pressure & found
themselves counter attacking on numerous occasions with
Dalian, Mgwazo & Tom all having shots.
On 59th min Fulwood conceded a free kick which
was whipped in by Dalian & strongly stuck on the half volley
by David. 0-3
