Kickoff 2-0pm

Unbelievable, but the weather was fine and sunny, another 2pm kickoff, which team would turn up for Euxton?

In the past, for every 2pm kickoff the boys have not played well. Well, despite the impressive scoreline it was the same old story, especially in the first half.

Robert and Kyle were on the bench, with Nicky and Ryan starting. Myerscough only had 5 players, surely the boys would capitalise on this?Straight from the kickoff Euxton moved forward and it wasnt long before Liam opened the scoring. 3 other goals (including 1 from Matthew) followed, but the boys could'nt string 2 passes together and the 5 Myerscough players really played very hard, never let their heads drop and mounted some good attacks producing some decent corners which were scrambled away. Half time and 4-0 up.

Andy produced one of his rousing team talks and brought on Kyle and Robert.The boys started at last to realise that passing to each other was the key and soon the goals were flying in,Ryan even getting in on the act.

In the end we ran 11 nil winners , however the boys were not at their best and really should have scored more given that the opposition only had 5 players.

The myerscough players were amazing, they all played their hearts out and kept going despite the score, even allowing their goalkeeper to go up for corners.

However a win is a win, and BAC dropping 2 points against Ripon, the boys are now top of the league 2 points ahead of BAC with the same games played, keep going boys,you can win the league!!
