Euxton Villa 1  BAC/EE 2

Second game in a week and what a difference in performance. BAC were a strong and organised team and although we pressurised we just couldn’t get our passing game going. The match was evenly balanced with few real chances created. BAC scored with the real first shot on goal, a low drive to Tommos right. The goal  appeared to inject some urgency into the boys and after some good runs and a couple of close efforts Nicky pulled one back with a superb half volley.

Half time 1-1  and after another of Andy's rousing team talks the boys came out and really put them under pressure with some good football being played by both sides. After a spell of sustained Euxton pressure BAC broke a away and despite  a valiant effort by Tommo they scored  making it 2-1.

After the goal went in BAC were the stronger team, and we struggled to make any openings.

A draw might have been a fairer result but BAC are a strong physical team and the boys will have learnt a lot from this game.

Its only the second game of the season and everything is still to play for, heads up boys.
