Euxton won this
comfortably after taking a commanding lead at half time. The
only slight frustration was that first half performance was
not sustained.
We led after 3
minutes when a corner from Josh was met by a firm header by
Connor.
Connor then scored
with a drive on 7mins and completed his hat trick on 15
minutes when he headed home another good cross by Josh.
On 20 minutes Josh
got onto the score sheet with a shot outside the box and
then Steven gave us a 5 –0 half time lead with a shot from
he edge of the box.
Whilst never losing
control of the game Euxton didn’t match the first half
performance after the break and actually drew the half 1 –1
after the 4th goal for Connor was matched by a
goal for a hard working Longridge side.
