Match Report U12s vs Poulton
Town League Cup 12th November
Euxton began the defence of the trophy
that they won last year at home to Poulton Town who are
riding high in their league. After the last below par
display there was the chance off an upset and Euxton were
going to have to work hard to play football.
The first half was competitive with the
Poulton team working very hard and their supporters cheering
them on. Euxton lead 3 –0 at half time, via goals from
Connor, Chris and George.
In the second half the hard work that
Poulton put in began to tell and the legs seem to tire. As a
result the Euxton team were able to pass the ball more and
ran out comfortable winners. For the record the scorers were
Connor 5, Chris 3, George, Josh and Craggy.
Poulton’s supporters cheered them
throughout the game and the manner in which they approached
the match was super.
