The oranges had a full squad today with the exception of Luke who was enjoying a caravan holiday. Gary started with Joe on the bench, Aaron in Goals, Liam and Malachy (captain for the day) in Defence, Jack, Marshall and James in midfield and Al up front.

Gary asked the boys to carry on playing as they had so far this season looking to pass when possible and working hard to help each other when we didn't have the ball.

I think some of the boys were still asleep when the match kicked off as Leyland when straight on the attack before firing a good effort wide. That chance was the only warning Euxton needed as after that they pressed forward well and were all looking to pass and encourage each other.

It was a very impressive display from the boys today with everyone of them working hard as Euxton ran out 11 - 1 winners. Special mention for Leyland Albion who did not let there heads drop and were a credit to their parents and manager and a special mention for the keeper who made some very brave saves.

Scorers today were James 4, Joe 3, Marshall 2 with one each for Liam and Al. Man of the match today was Marshall, all the boys did well, however we keep explaining how important it is to listen to Gary and Phil (if he ever returns) and then to do what we ask on the pitch and it was felt that Marshall did that best today.
