Despite being short of Aedan and Max the Blacks secured a good win away at Longridge with a great team display.
After going a goal down to a good strike from a free kick early on, Euxton came in at half time after an equally good one from Luke and were the better side in the first half.
Euxton took more control in the second half when Daniel followed up a shot that hit the bar to put Euxton ahead and then got onto a great through ball from Luke to beat the keeper and double our lead. The scoring was complete when Dylan showed great persistancy to add a deserved goal to an energetic display. It was hard to pick a man of the match because everyone played well. Aarbaz made some good saves and made some great kicks. Ben and Luke were brave and determined defenders and kept the Longridge attack out well. The midfield all worked hard, Matthews passing made a real difference , Dylan ran , tackled and passed all at 100% effort and Jamie had his best game as he learns his role. Daniel was a real handful and deserved his goals and Thomas worked hard for us and as ever did it with a smile on his face. Most of all the boys played some good football at times and deserved to win. A selection dilemma for the management next week after this result.
