Euxton Villa F.C - Match Report
Euxton Villa Black 14  Lostock Hall 0

Having won the away fixture against Lostock Hall the Blacks went into the game confident . Changes to the starting team brought Thomas and Aedan in with Jack H and Ben taking a turn on the bench.

Early into the game Dan made a great run into the box and was fouled sustaining a cut in the mouth as he fell. After treatment he stepped up and dispatched the resultant penalty and within a couple of minutes he ran from the halfway line and scored his second . The injury seemed to have fired Dan up and after switching wings he set up three other goals with his crosses, two for Dylan and one for Jack D. Jack D went onto score his second and to complete the first half scoring.

Euxton made further changes bringing on Ben and Jack H for Dylan and Luke. Jack H then scored two goals in quick succession with classy finishes and then moved into defence with Aedan moving into midfield. Aedan took the opportunity presented and scored before Thomas opened his scoring for the season. Arbaaz came out of goal and Ben was volunteered by his Dad to replace him. An amazing 5 minutes for Arbaaz followed when he scored a hat trick . In between Jack H completed his own hat trick with a great strike from outside the box.

Credit must go to Lostock Hall who played with great spirit throughout . For Euxton is was good to see Thomas get a full game and the goals being shared around. The football played in the first half was good.

Special mention must go to Daniel who scored 2 and set up 5 of the goals - his passing is making as big a contribution as the goals he loves to score. Thanks to Ben who touched the ball three times before going into goal and not touching it again! Well Done to Arbaaz who was awarded man of the match for his hat trick and passing when he came out of goal.

Clearly this was an easy win that will build confidence before we play Gillibrand next week.
