Blacks continued the progress up the table with a convincing win at home to Penwortham. The boys welcomed back Jack D into the squad and into midfield but were missing Aedan through illness so Luke partnered Ben in defence.
 
Euxton started well and got on top and never lost their grip on the match due to the hard work everyone put in. Some great passing and movement in the first half saw Euxton come in 4-1 up at halftime following 2 goals  each from Matthew and Dylan and it was a pleasure to see the boys put into practice what they have been taught in training.
 
The second half saw some equally good passing and movement , Dylan and Dan linking particularly well but we couldn't quite find the finish beyond a much deserved goal for Dan , who as ever looked dangerous whenever running at goal.
 
The Blacks are progressing really well and they are passing the ball as well as anyone we have seen in this league so far. In a season of development the progression so far is really encouraging.
 
Man of the match was Dylan who was pushed hard for the award by everyone in the team but his energy was fantastic and judged edged the decision.
