How to get
to Euxton Villa F.C

From the town center take the A6 heading
towards Preston, keep on the A6 until you reach Chorley
Hospital on your left, at the roundabout turn left on to
Euxton Lane, (Signpost read Euxton & Astley Village). at
the next roundabout take the 3rd exit (Still Euxton Lane)
continue down Euxton Lane past BAE Systems (Formerly known as
the Royal Ordnance Factory), pass under bridge and up to
crossroads with lights (Bay Horse pub on left), Go straight on
at lights passing Spar on your right, keep on this road.....
you will eventually pass over the M6 motorway, keep going,
bendy winding road so be careful! next turning on your right
is Runshaw Hall Lane, continue down Runshaw Hall Lane and The
Jim Flowers Memorial Ground (Euxton Villa F.C) can be found on
your right........
From 'The Cross' in Leyland follow the sings
towards 'Worden Park' or 'Runshaw College' keep on this road,
you will pass the entrance gates to Worden Park on your right,
keep going straight on you will pass Runshaw College on your
left. carry straight on down a steep hill and up the other
side and Euxton Villa can be found some 400 yards on the left.
Take the Southport Road from Eccleston or
Croston, go straight over the mini roundabout with a elf
garage on your left, follow the road round and take the next
left turning, follow this road eventually passing The Plough
(locally know as Jerry's Bar) Runshaw Hall Lane is the next
left turning, continue down Runshaw Hall Lane and Euxton Villa
can be found on your right.
M6 - at Junction
28 go down slip road to lights. Turn LEFT then SECOND
LEFT into BENT LANE. Follow to the end at mini roundabout,
turn RIGHT then immediately LEFT at second mini roundabout,
into LANGDALE ROAD. Follow all the way round to the end
(pass Runshaw College on your left) at T junction. (Worden
Park Gates facing you).
Turn LEFT,
this is Runshaw Hall Lane. Our ground is 200 yards on your
left.
There are several routes you could take but
the most straight forward route would be to follow the A49
from Preston, the A49 goes around Leyland, at the first set of
lights go straight on through lights Hayrick Pub on your
right, continue and pass shell garage on your left, eventually
you will come to a railway bridge with lights, pass under
bridge, continue down to the next set of lights, Bay Horse Pub
on your left, you want to turn right at these lights, past
Spar shop and over M6 Motorway, take next right turning into
Runshaw Hall Lane, Euxton Villa can be found approx 600 yards
on your right.
